Silver Paste is a precision-engineered conductive material designed specifically for screen-printing applications. It provides excellent electrical conductivity, strong adhesion, and high thermal stability, making it ideal for use in large-scale electronic manufacturing, solar cell metallization, sensors, and circuit patterning.
At AnyD Materials, our Screen-Printable Silver Paste is formulated to deliver consistent, defect-free prints with sharp edge definition and high conductivity after curing. Its thixotropic viscosity ensures smooth printing through fine-mesh screens, while the sintered silver network forms durable, conductive tracks capable of withstanding demanding electrical and environmental conditions.
How Screen-Printable Silver Paste Works
This paste combines high-purity silver microflakes with a specialized organic binder and solvent system that provides both printability and adhesion. During the screen-printing process, the paste passes through the stencil to form precise conductive patterns on substrates like glass, ceramics, or flexible films.
Once printed, the solvent evaporates, and the binder burns off during the curing stage — typically between 120 °C and 250 °C — allowing the silver particles to sinter together into a dense, continuous metallic film. The result is a track with exceptionally low resistivity (typically <5 µΩ·cm), excellent surface smoothness, and strong adhesion even under high humidity or temperature cycling.
Key Advantages
- High Conductivity: Achieves near-bulk silver performance after thermal curing.
- Excellent Printability: Optimized rheology for fine-line, high-resolution screen printing.
- Strong Adhesion: Bonds firmly to glass, ceramics, PET, and other substrates.
- Thermally Stable: Suitable for applications requiring heat resistance up to 250 °C.
- Durable Finish: Provides oxidation resistance and long-term conductivity retention.
- Customizable Formulation: Available in variants tuned for rigid or flexible substrates.
Application
- Solar Cell Metallization: Front and rear contact printing for crystalline and thin-film solar cells.
- Printed Electronics: Conductive paths for sensors, antennas, RFID tags, and flexible circuits.
- Touch Panels & Displays: Transparent and opaque conductive traces.
- EMI/RFI Shielding: Printed coatings for electronic housings and connectors.
- Heaters & Functional Films: Printed resistive heating elements on glass or PET.
- Automotive Electronics: Defrosters, sensors, and circuit traces for embedded systems.
How to Use It

- Stir thoroughly before use to ensure uniform consistency.
- Apply via screen printing using appropriate mesh (typically 200–400 mesh).
- Flash dry at 80–100 °C to remove solvent.
- Cure at 150–250 °C for 15–30 minutes (depending on substrate and thickness).
- Test with a multimeter; well-cured tracks show extremely low resistance.
- Clean screens immediately with compatible solvent after printing.
Storage & Handling
- tore the paste tightly sealed at below 25 °C in a cool, dry place.
- Avoid direct sunlight or prolonged air exposure.
- Shelf life: 6 months (under recommended conditions).
